About Us
Kimbe International School is owned and operated by the International Education Agency of Papua New Guinea. It is an independent, coeducational, international school from Pre-school (age 3+) to Grade 12. Students prepare for the PNG Upper Secondary School Certificate (Grade 8, 10, 12) and are internationally accredited by the Australian Capital Territory Board of Senior Secondary School for the Year 12 Certificate. Along with Academics, there are Sports, Cultural events, and co-curricular activities.
Our international education begins with the IEA Curriculum from F – Grade 6, Australian National Curriculum and PNG National curriculum from Gr7 – 12 or the Australian Capital Territory Board of Senior Secondary School Certificate in Grade 11 – 12.

KIS is situated in the heart of Kimbe town, the administrative centre of West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea on a large, secure, tropical, parkland campus. KIS is an independent, coeducational, international school (Foundation (age 3+) – Grade 12) that operates within the framework of the International Education Agency of Papua New Guinea, which is the country’s oldest and largest private education provider that is a non-profit organisation.
