KIS is situated in the heart of Kimbe town, the administrative centre of West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea on a large, secure, tropical, parkland campus. KIS is an independent, coeducational, international school (Foundation (age 3+) – Grade 12) that operates within the framework of the International Education Agency of Papua New Guinea, which is the country’s oldest and largest private education provider that is a non-profit organisation. Our KIS community includes all our members:
Our KIS Board of Governors, our parents, students, staff and alumni. Our strong community spirit of openness, caring and inclusion at KIS goes beyond our school walls to include the extensive service outreach and action our community contributes to Kimbe Town.
